Based on the reply's I got, I did see the ISS pass across the sun. Now after seeing a picture
again of a transit someone took, the size of the ISS I observed was ok. 

So my first iss satellite transit. For awhile I let certain people, know when the iss was going to
pass across the sun, So it was nice to finally getting around to see one myself.
