Just heard on the news that a major explosion shook the ground in a 5 km radius, but no ground damage has been found. Seismology department(!), gas and electricity companies, the military know nothing, and there was no thunderstorm. I am in a convalescence ward after coronary bypass operation on May 17 (only 400 m from the Stockholm Saltsjöbaden Observatory, now only used by my astronomy club). I'll be home early next week, but may not carry more than 2*0.5 kg in my arms. I exceeded this by bringing my notebook, so I have been able to keep in touch. But it means that I can't setup the telescope for about two months (perfect timing, isn't it - it coincides with the too bright summer nights at 59+ N) /Björn ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
