I have been unable to make sense of many of the time residuals in the Lacrosse 5
data set. In particular, many of my obs appear to be several 10ths of a second
late relative the others - this is true of entire passes. I have ruled out time
source or time reduction errors. There have been no apparent problems with my
96072A obs. For the above elset, I accepted the higher residuals.
