In my last post I intimated that my dvd recorder malfunctioned, that was incorrect, it was the owner that did. Having now sorted the problem I have recovered the footage of 96072A I took yesterday. My approx of running 20 to 30 seconds late was pretty good:- 24680 96 072A 2756 G 20050505220711100 17 15 0801146+325927 99 24680 96 072A 2756 G 20050505220733020 17 15 0733240+365246 99 24680 96 072A 2756 G 20050505220806260 17 15 0648294+410549 99 24680 96 072A 2756 G 20050505220834960 17 15 0611311+433122 99 I also mentioned it flashed (flared, which is it?) Anyway, for those that like that sort of thing, here's a description; Flare at 22:07:35.5, duration 0.45seconds, reaching mag+1, it took me by surprise, it's bright on the video and outshines all other stars in the fov (and subsequent fov while tracking it). Otherwise, it was fairly constant mag+5.5, slowly dimming as the pass progressed.
