A beautifull day. that started with the partial solar eclips. From the IJsselmeer dike just north of Medemblik my wife and I had an unobstructed view over the water to the north east, Some clouds prevented us from seeing the actual sunrise when the eclips was at its maximum. But soon after the sun cam through the clouds as a small mooncresent. The clouds acted as a natural sunfilter. We watched it for about half an hour. By that time the moon was only a quarter in front of the sun. I videotaped about 20 minutes of this eclips. This evening I observed some nice flashers. 01- 56 F 03-05-31 21:31:42 LB 203.5 0.2 34 5.99 AA, 3->i Timings: 5,61 6,50 5,78 6,12 5,88 6,28 5,79 6,02 6,56 5,30 6,07 6,53 5,52 6,38 5,25 5,70 6,30 7,00 5,27 6,14 5,41 5,53 6,38 6,32 6,42 5,49 6,15 6,15 6,25 5,76 5,89 5,50 6,46 5,81 sec. 03- 9 D 03-05-31 21:56 LB 1 fl mag 2 in SW -> S, 5 Flared to mag 2 in the southwest, was S, 5 rest of the pass 03- 9 E 03-05-31 21:51:37 LB 219.4 0.5 21 10.45 FF, 2->i Timings: 21,82 12,19 24,94 10,75 15,25 11,16 10,34 7,35 8,61 11,11 10,36 7,89 8,49 11,09 10,27 8,11 8,47 11,01 10,17 sec. 87- 60 A 03-05-31 21:38:20 LB 79.6 0.5 9 8.8 AA, 4->i Timings: 8,18 8,96 8,76 8,59 9,19 8,04 9,83 8,19 9,81 sec. 2003: 223 obs PPAS: 12615 obs Greetings and clear, dark skies Leo Barhorst Medemblik Cospar 4252 52.76350 N 5.09114 E 2 m ASL http://www.home.zonnet.nl/leobarhorst/index.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
