I did notice that the 1820Z pass over New Zealand seemed slower than usual, though I did not time it- perhaps both of these are related to the COLA manouver referred to in previous emails? At the time of observing I was not aware of the manoeuver which has raised its height.. It does explain why the pass was such an excellent one here! It seems surprising that the only reason for maneouver was to avoid collision- the altitude seemed to be such that a boost was necessary anyway. Not able to confirm the config or otherwise as viewing was unassisted. Kevin Fetter kindly drew my attention to an ISS solar transit in New Zealand which occurs shortly- unfortunately will not be visible at my location - and in very few populated areas! Have done my best to alert others but hampered by line problems - hopefully about to be resolved.
