    Thanks.  Unfortunately cloud prevented any sighting at my location.
    Frustratingly above  20 degrees the sky was clear and stars were clearly
    visible!
    
    I do not know if anyone anywhere picked up on this transit apart from us in
    here.  Unfortunately I only realised it with insufficient time to alert
    locals and/or the news media.
