At 06:03:10 on 28 May New Zealand Standard Time (18:03:10 on 27 May UTC) a lunar transit of ISS is predicted for the North of the South Island of New Zealand - this is based on Heavens Above and Calsky so someone may wish to check this out using one of the orbital prediction programs. By trial and error I have established that the best location appears to be Nelson 41.2830°S, 173.2830°E. At my location which is on the other side of a body of water called Cook Strait it appears it will be a "near miss! Unfortunately the weather forecast is for cloud. If weather does allow it will be an interesting sight with the Moon, Venus and Mars (these in close proximity to each other) and ISS all visible in the NorthEastern sky at the same time!
