    As I am in New Zealand some of those links do not apply- but some of the
    sites do apply when parameters are modified for my location.  I am sure they
    will be very helpful though!   Now all we need is a site where you can
    modify the clouds to provide constantly clear skies at the appropriate
    times!
    
    I regularly check the local radar, satellite etc observations and the
    forecasts but often find that the conditions vary from minute to minute (the
    local climate has a reputation for that!)  so the only way is to check
    anyway when cloudy as some observations occur during breaks in the clouds.
    
    I am not sure if there are any other New Zealanders subscribed to this list.
    If any one does want New Zealand weather links I am happy to provide them.
    
    Talking of weather we just had a mag -8 flare predicted from Iridium 53 at
    18:56: 28 local but not even a flare that bright could penetrate the cloud
    cover, even after I walked as close as practicable to the centre.
