skymap test

Can someone check to see if I am going crazy.

Try the following geo sat as an example

Galaxy 11 40.0 v
1 26038U 99071A 02128.82175324 .00000000 00000-0 10000-3 0 6463
2 26038 0.0783 74.4544 0006274 213.6969 143.1828 1.00268196 8808

Compare the mag value for that compared to say using a value of 10.0 in the
satmag.dat file. I have tried it, and I get the same results when using the
all satellite search menu, and using F7 then F9 and then F10 to generate the
report file.

I had tried using option F7 under lighting constraints menu to change
between

Use Standard Magnitudes in SATMAG.DAT

and

Use Std. magnitudes in ephem file if present

Either I am doing something wrong, are there is a bug in skymap, then I have
to get out the bug spray.

I am using version 6.6

Thanks for the help

Kevin
