    Tristan,

My experience with the early flaring is more recent. I would estimate it is
something that I have experienced only during the past two to three weeks.

However, it is frustrating as I prefer to release the shutter 3-4 seconds
prior to the proposed start of flaring so as to minimize the affects of skyglow
and, yet, with these early arrivals I must now release the shutter 10-15 seconds
    earlier.

I am relieved to see that I am not the only experiencing this premature
flaring. I would also love to hear of any explanations. It is also not an issue of
H-A vs Iridflar as the premature flaring is relative to both sets of times.

    Anthony.
