Hello, This flashing Kosmos rocket has been re-discovered by Bram Dorreman on May 5 2001. It is now flashing with approximately 10s. This rocket has a history of accelerations. It is probably going up again as its maximum would have been somewhere between September 2000 and May 2001. Are there any more observations covering this period ? No doubt this is an BWGS Top priority object. Here below you will find all 96004B observations collected by the BWGS. I intend to place a flash report on the BWGS pages. 96- 4 B 96-04-01 19:36 KJ 140.7 0.3 34 4.14 96- 4 B 96-04-16 MM 5.3 sm 96- 4 B 96-07-03 21:46 KJ 119.4 2.0 16 7.5 96- 4 B 96-07-19 MM 18 96- 4 B 96-08-26 02:20:27 LB 105.6 1 2 53 MM, mag 5->inv 96- 4 B 96-09-07 02:20:16 LB 62.7 0.5 2 31.4 AA, mag 5->inv 96- 4 B 96-09-08 02:45 LB slowly var, mag 5->6 96- 4 B 96-11-14 18:21 KJ S 96- 4 B 96-11-23 17:04 WV LP 96- 4 B 97-03-09 04:22:41.9 BD 91.2 0.5 4 22.8 A 4.5->8.0 96- 4 B 97-03-10 04:48:32 LB 45.5 0.5 2 22.7 AA, mag 5->7 96- 4 B 97-03-29 02:40:41 LB 88.4 0.5 7 12.6 Aa, mag 4->inv 96- 4 B 97-03-31 01:47:05 LB 76.1 0.5 4 19.0 AA, mag 5->inv 96- 4 B 97-05-01 22:28 LB almost S, mag 5 96- 4 B 97-05-07 21:36:40 LB 56.7 0.5 2 28.4 AA, mag 4->6 96- 4 B 97-05-12 22:01:07 LB 119.9 0.5 4 30.0 AA, mag 4->inv 96- 4 B 97-06-08 09:53 VAG 188.3 1.0 5 37.7 AA mag9->12 96- 4 B 97-06-09 08:33 VAG 176.5 0.5 5 35.3 AA mag4->inv 96- 4 B 97-08-08 01:02 LB var, mag 4->7, P>60 96- 4 B 97-08-08 23:43:03 LB 98.8 1.0 2 49.4 MM, mag 4->inv 96- 4 B 97-08-11 23:15:00 RO 50 +/-3 MAG 4 TO 7 STEADY 96- 4 B 97-08-23 21:36 TC 52.3 1 1 52 AA, mag +5.5 96- 4 B 97-09-05 22:05 KJ 211.3 1.5 4 52.8 96- 4 B 97-09-06 20:45 KJ 213.9 4.0 4 53 MM 96- 4 B 97-09-10 20:46 KJ 105.1 1.0 2 53 mag +4-5->7 96- 4 B 97-09-21 18:34:00.0 LS S 96- 4 B 97-09-21 20:24 LB S, mag 2.55 96- 4 B 97-09-22 19:05:13 LB 127.8 0.5 2 63.9 AA, mag 5->inv 96- 4 B 97-09-22 19:05:20 PDV 128.6 4 2 64 96- 4 B 97-09-25 18:39 PDV 131.7 4 2 66 96- 4 B 97-09-26 19:06:45 PDV 128.8 4 2 64 96- 4 B 97-12-29 18:57 KJ 242.1 10 2 121 sm 96- 4 B 97-12-29 19:53 JVS 64 ?;dtm;ssm?irr! 96- 4 B 98-01-10 17:09:55 LB 110.7 1.0 1 111 MM, mag 3->7 96- 4 B 98-01-26 04:41:13 LB 275.6 0.5 2 137.8 AA, 4->7, 1 fl mag 2 96- 4 B 98-04-15 20:08:14 MR S 96- 4 B 98-06-19 22:53:40 RO mag 5 SLOWLY VARYING 96- 4 B 98-07-15 20:22 PW S or long period 96- 4 B 99-02-12 19:08 LB slowly var, mag 5->6 96- 4 B 99-05-28 21:24:23 LB 214.8 2.0 4 53.7 MM, mag 4->inv, N? 96- 4 B 99-07-27 00:40:09.6 RE 10 96- 4 B 99-09-02 20:22:07 LB 41.2 0.5 4 10.3 AA, mag 5->inv 96- 4 B 99-09-06 02:59:33.0 EC 45.6 0.3 2 22.8 asymm: 9.69+11.14=20.83 96- 4 B 99-09-10 20:20:48 LB 63.5 0.5 6 10.6 AA, 5->inv 96- 4 B 99-09-20 19:29:00 LB 106.4 0.5 10 10.64 AA, 4->inv 96- 4 B 99-10-18 05:12:24 LB 63.8 0.5 6 10.6 AA, 4->inv 96- 4 B 99-10-19 03:55:42 LB 107.3 0.5 10 10.73 AA, 4->inv 96- 4 B 00-08-24 03:15:34 LB 101.4 0.5 10 10.1 AA, 4->7 96- 4 B 00-08-26 02:21:05 LB 206.7 0.2 20 10.34 AA, 4->7 96- 4 B 00-09-10 1:54:26 LB 87.4 0.5 8 10.9 AA, 4->i 96- 4 B 01-05-05 22:29:26.0 BD 108.7 0.5 11 9.9 5.0->inv Tristan Cools t.cools@yucom.be Belgian Working Group Satellites(BWGS) Ryckevelde: 3.2856E/51.2045N - OBS place 2 Brugge: 3.2166E/51.2104N - OBS place 3(home) Primary site http://gallery.uunet.be/tcools/satimage/index.htm Mirror site http://www.satimage.bwgs.yucom.be/index.htm ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
