Hi Ed, May 27, 2000 2310 UTC Your comment on missing official releases ( daily USSPACECOM/OIG Satellite Catalog Action Report ) on announced decays touched on another point I've noticed. Each of the four current OIG site updated elsets below has a _lower_ element set number than my previous elset. The point such updates are a day or more apart ( last two examples ) doesn't seem to matter. I thus conclude its not so much a matter when an item is processed for public release, but how its processed. ***** 5/27/00 OIG last 30 days CSL-04 R/B {DEB} HC epoch difference + .23 seconds 1 26319U 99057HC 00146.75157034 .00048566 00000-0 75449-2 0 265 2 26319 98.6001 227.0759 0076813 173.7990 186.4786 14.71113143 9690 ***** E:\CEL\0005.TXT CSL-04 R/B {DEB} HC 1 26319U 99057HC 00146.75156771 .00049840 00000-0 76924-2 0 278 2 26319 98.5985 227.0708 0077177 172.6521 187.5843 14.71115203 9691 ***** 5/27/00 OIG last 30 days CSL-04 R/B {DEB} HL epoch difference + .47 seconds 1 26327U 99057HL 00146.76159355 .00067603 00000-0 10999-1 0 297 2 26327 98.4516 225.2152 0069120 148.0919 212.5102 14.69497334 9387 ***** E:\CEL\0005.TXT CSL-04 R/B {DEB} HL 1 26327U 99057HL 00146.76158798 .00068894 00000-0 11087-1 0 301 2 26327 98.4645 225.2194 0070757 149.1664 211.3755 14.69497055 9384 ***** 5/27/00 OIG last 30 days GOES-L Atlas 2A Centaur R/B epoch difference + 1 day 1 26353U 00022B 00146.95782308 .00005705 00000-0 22031-2 0 141 2 26353 20.2130 127.5840 7579976 194.4512 115.6916 1.91437036 432 ***** E:\CEL\0005.TXT GOES-L Atlas 2A Centaur R/B 1 26353U 00022B 00145.91647961 .00005445 00000-0 22084-2 0 162 2 26353 20.2102 127.9072 7579875 193.8592 118.0345 1.91424554 413 ***** 5/27/00 OIG last 30 days DUMMYSAT-01 epoch difference + 2 days 1 26365U 00026A 00148.70868082 .00001656 00000-0 11331-3 0 94 2 26365 86.3770 30.8957 0009966 327.4080 32.6527 15.05348651 1713 ***** E:\CEL\0005.TXT DUMMYSAT-01 1 26365U 00026A 00146.71443991 .00002031 00000-0 13951-3 0 189 2 26365 86.3775 31.8346 0010318 334.4618 25.6094 15.05343261 1419 John Gardner,Jr Hoarder of TLEs gardjw@juno.com 76.98569 W 39.00195 N 62.484m ASL ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
