Hi everyone, I would like to request some info and feedback from the list regarding satellite decay. The reason is that a few friends and myself have decided to participate in a 'scientific cup', and we would like to do a project based on satellites and satellite observations. Currently we are thinking about doing something with Satellite decay. Specific questions : - how accurate is a typical satellite decay prediction ? - Is there a 'how to predict decay' web-page (preferably including formulas)? - is there some source code on the web, doing decay predictions? Our idea is to use a specific kind of neural network to optimise the parameters for satellite decay prediction and see of we can improve current predictions, or at least equal current predictions using this different approach. If anyone has other ideas combining theory and visual observations, we would like to hear them ! greetings, -- Mike Rosseel http://members.xoom.com/MikeRosseel Mike.Rosseel@synes.com Columbus had a fourth ship - it sailed over the edge. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
