The time between my May 5 observation, and Rainer's first May 7 is
174587.60 seconds

Using the flash period evolution I suggested (in a private letter) the expected mid-time period would be 50.50323 seconds.

This would make the interval very close to 3457 periods, for an average of 50.50263 on May 6.867

Are there any more absolute timings noted by ANY observer ?
