Observations 16 May 1997 UT   (Thurs Eve./Fri AM)

04:38:51 UT   Culmination of Meteor 1-8 rocket (#5143) Mag 3.

04:48, 05:00; Searched for, did not see, predicted high-elevation
              passes of Cosmos 2058 (#20465), Cosmos 2058rk (#20466).
              Predicted mags 4.1, 4.5. Wide-angle binoculars used.

15:13:07      Rob Matson sent me a predicted solar transit of
              Cosmos 332 r/b (#4370) for this time. Angular size:
              1.1". 
 Seeing reasonably good. Did not see anything.
