STS-77 observations

Observations were carried out again from Houston this morning. The 
inflatable antenna was not seen although we observed from 1000-1030GMT. 
Apparently it reentered before that as was forecasted by Alan Pickup.

However, the PAM/STU satellite which had been deployed at 0918GMT was 
observed about 2 seconds in front of theSTS-77 orbiter. These two were 
spotted at 1040GMT at  a range of 272 st.mi. (438km) under clear skies with 
bright twilight. The PAM/STU was about magnitude 5.5, the orbiter -1.
