I made a similar observation from Saarbrücken-Bischmisheim (Germany) with the naked eye and 7×50 binoculars. However, here the satellites reached only about 37° elevation (in the SSE) (the Sun was 13° below my horizon on March 25 at 04:09 UTC). Chris, it would be very nice if you could add to Heavens-Above some features from now defunct CalSky -- like pass predictions for satellites in (very) low orbits (especially objects shortly before decay). The train of objects reached 76° elevation and they were easily visible to the unaided eye, despite early twilight (Sun elev. -10°). They were still close together and spanned an arc of approximately 10° in the sky, some objects considerably brighter than others.
