With Adam Hurcewicz's help, I have derived approximate elements of what appears to be the Falcon 9 rocket body of the 2021-017 launch. 281 X 282 km 1 92004U 21565A 21065.16791667 .01845038 00000-0 40100-2 0 00 2 92004 52.9988 175.9979 0001000 0.0000 71.9086 15.97575395 03 Methodology I reduced two positions, separated in time by 1.1 minutes, from a video shot by a different observer on 6 March 2021 5:03 local time (4:03 UTC): https://youtu.be/rKyTjz-E0FQ Adam contacted the observer and obtained accurate location co-ordinates. I failed to request permission to publish the name of the observer or the co-ordinates. I identified a known satellite in the video, which enabled me to estimate that it begins at 04:00:12 UTC. The above elements are a circular orbit approximation. The decay term is a trial and error fit to approximate the time and track on the video Adam shot this morning: https://youtu.be/JdbWWKalPwg Ted Molczan _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Tue Mar 09 2021 - 11:48:50 UTC
