Hello, I just went out a few minutes ago because my phone gave me a notification for a Tiangong pass. It was right where expected, but there was another bright satellite I couldn't identify. I'm not an expert so I can't give you detailed data, except this: - It was very bright, almost as bright but probably brighter than Tiangong. Very visible even in a light-polluted sky, I'd say brighter than 0. - I noticed it exactly when Tiangong was culminating, which means at 05:52 local time. - My location is in Italy, 12.44E, 42.23N. - The satellite, at the moment of Tiangong culmination, was very close to it - I'd say no more than 10 degrees, probably less. - It was moving roughly perpendicular to Tiangong trajectory, roughly SE to NW. I tried Heavens Above and calsky but there's nothing so bright there at that time. Does anyone know what it could be? I couldn't follow it until it entered shadow, because it was blocked by a building. Ah... I'm not an expert but I think I'm beyond mistaking an aircraft for a satellite! :) Thank you, Cristian -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
