    Yes, we can be sure it wasn't HTV re-entering for two reasons:
    
    - The time of the event excludes that this was the HTV;
    
    - Plus the descriptions of the New Zealand meteor are not at all compatible with 
    a satellite re-entry (which is a very slow event of long duration: the New 
    Zealand eyewitnesses however describe something quite different: a very fast, 
    shortlived meteor).
