    It was the second "Boom" in 2 weeks and www.katu.com states that air traffic
    controllers could not confirm a visible meteor.  Still a mystery.

    Thanks All. I'm thinking meteor. There was a storm coming in and the
    cloud deck was 20000 ft thick so any flash would have been attenuated
    pretty well plus the sound was heard at pretty much the exact same
    second even 25 miles apart.
    
    The military says it wasn't them, FWIW.
