    My SatCal program has been around for some time now and it is Open Source and 
    runs on Linux. Predicting daytime passes across the Sun's disk is one of the 
    various features of SatCal. Available for download (either Windows or Linux) 
    via
    	www.aaw-darmstadt.de
    then Downloads.
