    Dear all,

I have been looking for many years for an opportunity to see a Soyuz or
Progress craft in the vincinity of Mir and later the ISS.
My lack of success in this mater can not be accounted to bad luck
anymore and I speculate that there are certain lighting/ground station
coverage rules in place for such dockings that exclude visibity from my
    location in Germany (50 N, 9 E).
Does anybody know more about these rules?

    Thanks in advance!

    Rainer
