    Last Sunday evening (23 Mar 01:44 UTC) I had a ~77 deg pass of Iridium 33. I
observed the satellite through binoculars. I mentally counted the time
between flashes and saw a basic flash rate of between 4 and 5 seconds. But
every third cycle a brighter flash came sooner -- about 3 sec after the last
flash -- followed by a dimmer flash about 1 sec later. So the pattern was
something like F---F--Ff that repeated. The 3 bright flashes were about the
same magnitude, with the weaker flash about 2 magnitudes dimmer.
