Hi!I have just observed a single naked-eye flare of Iridium 33 at somewhere between 20:49:30 UTC and 20:50:30 UTC, az. NW, alt. 20 degrees. The flare was at least mag 0 and was extremely brief, certainly less than one second. This corresponds with the prediction from my location for a flare at 20:50:27 UTC. I did not observe the preceding flare predicted for 20:46:43 UTC although due to the brevity of these flares I cannot say whether it actually did not occur or whether it occurred but I missed it. I have further flare predictions for tomorrow and will observe again, weather permitting. All best wishes, Marcus Clark Torquay UK 50.5 N, 3.5 W _________________________________________________________________ View your Twitter and Flickr updates from one place – Learn more! http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/137984870/direct/01/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
