Observed the NROL-28 launch this morning from my home in Manhattan Beach, CA. Bright orange flame as it cleared my local horizon at 3:03 PDT. Solid booster separation visible through 15x45 binoculars. Followed through to Centaur ignition before losing it in cloud cover. The trajectory seemed higher in elevation and faster than the typical Delta 2 launches from VAB. -- Bradley P.
