Hi John & All Yes, clear skies down here in Poole, sky very light due to twilight the only star visible unaided was Vega. Had to use binoculars to see the ATV 1, would estimate about mag 1 at approximately 05:58 GMT, Ted's pre-launch element was near perfect. I did not see it however until it had passed over head. It's not very often that I will get up early in the morning these days, but this was worth it.
