It seems that although it is not shown in the catalog changes, there is more USA 193 debris. Seems we are up to 32619 007-057CS.(and counting?) I can safely refer to this without breaking the user agreement because I found it out when using Calsky and discovered there was among other things 32610 06-057CH which was due to pass overhead if had not already decayed,, decay being predicted about an hour earlier. A check was made here but conditions are poor with cloud and showers, and the debris would have been in shadow so all I can verify is that there was no obvious decay within a short distance of here! The BJ object which is close to decay was due to pass by here a few minutes ago but was at relatively low elevation, not due to decay for a few hours and in view of poor conditions (and the need to file this report and get back to sleep!) no observation was attempted. It seems that the chances of a decay near this location (often regarded as an insignificant and lightly populated part of the South Pacific which is quite convenient :-) are quite high and with more debris being found seem to be getting higher. It also seems there is quite a lot of stuff floating around at or near ISS (and later STS and ATV) altitudes, and that not all of it might have been tracked yet! Anyone care to comment on the other debris currently listed as newly catalogued but not from USA 193, and for which no TLEs are available?
