Regarding the NOTAM warning for debris coming down brought up by John 2 days ago (http://www.satobs.org/seesat/Feb-2008/0581.html): In the comments to this topic on the Bad Astronomy blog: http://www.badastronomy.com/bablog/2008/03/01/pilots-watch-out-for-space-debris/ ...someone managed to dig up the actual date of issue of this NOTAM. It's an old one, issued the 20th February. So *before* the ASAT strike on USA 193. So it has a bit of a pre-emptive nature. - Marco ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, the Netherlands. e-mail: sattrackcam@wanadoo.nl Cospar 4353 (Leiden): 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL Cospar 4354 (De Wilck): 52.11685 N, 4.56016 E (WGS84), -2 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
