Some observations between 0100 and 0400 UT March 6 from BCRC: The Intelsat 1002 Breeze Tank (28359, 04-22B) made a pass near our zenith at a range of 206 miles. It was estimated to be magnitude 1.5. The NOSS 2-3 (E) object (23936, 96-29E) was observed to vary from magnitude 3 to 7 with a period of about a minute. The Beidou 2A Long March rocket (30324, 07-3B) was observed to be tumbling from magnitude 7 to 9 with a period of 1.04 seconds at a range of 4000 miles. Flaring Geosyncs: All of these were observed in my 8 inch telescope (and some in binoculars) just before shadow entry: The PAS 3R PAS 6B pair was observed at magnitude 5.5 and 7. PAS 1R was magnitude 9. Object 90024 was magnitude 6. Intelsat 805 was magnitude 8.5. GOES 10 was magnitude 8. Amazonas was magnitude 11. Echostar 3 was magnitude 10. Rainbow 1 was magnitude 9. Ed saw other objects in binoculars far away from the Earth's shadow.
