Optus B1 has been or is being repositioned and this disrupted coverage for many customers on a major television network here - it seems this was the sequence rather than the repositioning being made necessary because of loss of signal. Reports on this are quite confusing. One possible way of interpreting them is that repositioning has taken place but that re-alignment of the satellite antennas etc towards the target area was not possible because the solar cells were drained by the solar eclipse - the latter hardly being an unforeseen event!
