I am upgrading my hard drive from a 40 GB to 100 Gb drive. I don't need anything bigger then that. So now I can use my computer to capture and store satvideo. This will let me capture video all night long. Right now I been using a dvd recorder, to capture and store video. In the best video quality mode, it captures for 1 hour, a problem. So when I am at work, I can setup the tracking mount. I'll be using the wide feild of view setup. Then narrow feild of view setup, ie the video camera in the telescope focuser, is for use only when I am at home, and can keep an eye on it, and correct for any pointing error's. With the wider feild of view, pointing error's are less of a worry. So then all I need to do, is setup the tracking system, command it to point to a known flashing geo sat, and let it track it to it's heart's content. Then play back the video, to check for when it was flashing. So I can still get video, when I am at work. Kevin __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
