The last couple of times I've seen Lacrosse 5 (05-016A, 28646), it's seemed not quite normal -- first flare and then go very faint. Thursday evening I could not find it at all after culmination (no binoculars, from on the UT Austin campus), even though it was northeast of the zenith, with a fairly full phase angle. Just seems kind of different than I've usually observed it. It's very rare, to me, for it to be so faint on any high pass.
