UNID mag +3.5 SB left of beta Gem. 08:00 +27 at 19:40 UT DIR = 160 degrees. Some 30 s later it moved 7 deg/18 s. Easy naked eye, natural fading descending, easy in 7*50. I got two positions, first time just by voice recorder, second also stopwatch. Identified as #07838 72-58J LandSat 1 rocket debris, predicted at about mag +8.5! Alas, 83060C #14139 chose not to have a maximum in either the 20 deg pass or the excellent 54 deg NE pass, and before the next one clouds rolled in, and are expected to continue for some days. Good luck, David!
