I've received word of two newly observed flashing, westward-drifting geosynchs: 93-072A, 22907, Gorizont 29 - flash period 79.36 seconds; discovered by Mike Waterman, in England; may be visible now from eastern North America. Gorizonts can be as bright as +4.5 but generally are more like +5 at best. 88-051C, 19217, PAS 1 - flash period about 34 (or 68) seconds; discovered by Ron Welch, in Australia, with 7x35 binoculars; brightest flashes possibly +4.5; possibly 10-12 minutes earlier from night to night.
