    I've received word of two newly observed flashing, westward-drifting
    geosynchs:

    by Mike Waterman, in England; may be visible now from eastern North
    America. Gorizonts can be as bright as +4.5 but generally are more
    like +5 at best.

    88-051C, 19217, PAS 1 - flash period about 34 (or 68) seconds;
    discovered by Ron Welch, in Australia, with 7x35 binoculars;
    brightest flashes possibly +4.5; possibly 10-12 minutes earlier
    from night to night.
