Hi all, To my usual list of TLEs, I have added a new disco ball. It's a 50 cm spherical satellite launched on August 29, 2001 aboard a Japanese H-IIA rocket on a very elliptical orbit, now at about 243 x 36055 km. It is similar in size to Starshine 2 but should be even more difficult to observe. Its surface is covered with a lot of laser retroreflectors and quite a few mirrors made of flat square metallic plates.
