I have looked at the video again (in the daytime) and I agree with James Oberg that it is playing at regular speed but just includes the "middle" of the pass and my guess is that the camera was zoomed in a bit which creates the apparent increase in the rate of visible travel. Sorry if my misinterpretation caused confusion, I reckon we can drop the subject.
