    If you want to be strict, it should be:

    Salyut 1  = Alpha
    Skylab = Beta
    Salyut 3 = Gamma
    Salyut 4 = Delta
    Salyut 5 = epsilon
    Salyut 6 = zeta
    Salyut 7 = eta
    Mir = theta
    ISS = jota

    I am for ISS=Alpha.

    BTW: on February 27th I was waiting for a Mir pass when I noticed some other
    satellite moving. I consulted heavens-above and found it was Cosmos 100,
    launched on December 17th, 1965. It was amazing to see such an old object.
