    I observed Molniya 3-10 (78-095A, 11057) at a range of 11-12,000 km Friday
    (locally). The flashes were near mag 4 and very sharp. The period was close
    to 5.31 seconds. I gave it another try last night through broken clouds.
    This time I was only able to see every other flash, but these were just as
    bright as three nights before. I hope that the comments on the following are
    correct. This was my first molniya... quite exciting!

    78- 95 A 00-03-25 04:41     SDL   53.1 0.2  10   5.31   F'F', mag 4->inv
    78- 95 A 00-03-28 04:30     SDL  796.7 0.2  75  10.623  hp, mag 4->inv

    Gorizont 15 (88-028A, 19017) made its presence known Sunday evening around
    9:45 p.m. PST (possibly somewhat earlier). Another very sharp (but less
    frequently seen?) flasher.

    88- 28 A 00-03-27 06:13:52  SDL 1670.7 0.2  75  22.273  F'F', mag 5->inv

    Both were easy binocular objects, and the short periods make them attractive
    targets.

    Regards.
