The current elsets for the Iridiums show no evidence that any de-orbit manoeuvres have started. However, it appears that no Iridium elset has had a negative drag term (ndot2) since about March 22. I speculate that this is evidence that efforts to control the relative positions of the satellites have terminated. Can anyone "in the know" confirm this? Of course, the thing that determines whether flares occur as predicted is the attitude control of the Iridium, not its relative position in the constellation, and even if it drifts off-station it may still be under attitude control.
