On both Friday and Saturday (03-10 and 03-11 local), I observed a near-geo
flasher where Gorizont 4 (11841, 80-49A) was predicted to be. Friday
    evening, 00-03-10 at 22:00 PST (00-03-11, 06:00 UTC), I found it 2 degrees
above beta CMi. The flashes were about mag +7, and the period was about 124
seconds. The only other satellite that came close was Anik A1 (06278,
72-90A), but I don't believe that this one is capable of producing flashes
visible in the 10x50's that were used for the observation.

As Ed Cannon mentioned, GSTAR 3 may be producing a few flashes that are
    visible at 1X.
