I'm sure you would like star maps plotted with your predictions. There used
to be a small file in one of the supporting .zip files.
It is virtually impossible to log on to ftp://ftp.satellite.eu.org ,
(directory /pub/sat/programs/ibmpc) to get the larger files.
I think it takes too long to connect, so most ftp software times out. I
have connected a few times last year, but it took many attempts !

So, I have put Rob Matson's Hipparcos (mag.+8) catalogue (sky_hip8.zip) on
    my
    http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle/programs/ibmpc
    page (near the end).

I hope I am not overstepping my authority, Rob !
