Hello again:

Allow me to clarify (as I almost never measure flash timings!) :)

>FYI Wire is still spinning as of 23:45 UTC 5 March 1999.
>Observed from Boston, MA, USA 42(N) -71(W).

MEASURED FLASH PERIOD: (Period, not neccesarily rotation)!
>Measured FLASH period was 3.23 seconds (20 rotations over a 64.66 second
>interval). Timed using the 60Hz readout clock on the video camera. To be
>exact, there were exactly 20 FLASHES in 3,880 video fields (60 fields/sec).
>Wire is FLASHING every 3.23 seconds. Must be the onboard strobe!

Flash vs. rotation!
