New Iridiums observed

Thanks to Ron Lee's prelaunch elset, I had no trouble in picking up 
the latest Iridiums just 16 hours after launch at 1998 March 30, 
22:11 UT (11.11pm local).  I saw a string of six objects with 
relative spacings like: <-  * *         *         *        * *  
rising in the North.  They were all about mag +8 steady at 25 el 
apart from object no. 2, which varied from +6.5 to invisible (below 
+9) with a period of about 10 secs.  Nos. 1 and 2 were separated by 
0s.8, nos. 5 and 6 by 1s.1.  There were no flares before they 
entered eclipse.
