Hi All,

Regarding the possible observation of the reentry of Mir Deb KG from
El Paso on the evening of 3 Oct 96, Alan Pickup posted a possible
evolution of the object to decay, the last entry of which was:

Mir deb KG 125 x 124 km
1 23888U 86017KG 96278.11380456 2.79363403 48157+2 13043-2 0 91640
2 23888 51.5879 285.3366 0000735 90.0314 269.9768 16.55778590 20160

Using this elset and assuming a height of 124 km, the object would have
been more than 10 degrees above El Paso's horizon from about 8:52:30pm
MDT to 8:54:30, going from south to east, with a culmination of about 25
degrees in the southeast. --Rob
