Interesting obs tonight.   I saw the standard 23.3 sec or so
period between flashes before seeing the fainter flashes.  This 
continued long enough to establish a faint/bright pattern.

Then the series of bright flashes during the phase shift, followed
by Faint/bright flashes, until the faints became invisible.

I used eight brights as the phase shift sequence and got a mid point
of 3:08:40.9 UT on 21 Mar 98.  This is the time of the fourth flash
of the eight, not the mid point between bright flashes 4 and 5 (of 8).

The oddity is that flash number 4 was also the brightest.  Seems to 
me that usually the brightest flash occurs just prior to the start of
the phase shift bright flashes.  Actually, of the eight flashes in the
middle, #4, 5 and 6 were all very good.
