Astronomy Instructor/caretaker. James and Barbara Moore Observatory. Charlotte Campus of ECC On March 8th we had an interesting re-entry ? of an object that was observed across the State of Florida. From down here in Ft. Myers it appeared at 6:40p.m. EST at an azimuth of 50 deg above my local horizon. They consisted of *two* bodies travelling side by side 6 degrees apart - there were no "fireworks" as you might expect from a spent booster etc.... it was not barrium in fact they apeared much like two comets one of the two was even sporting a short tail. If you have heard what these were please let me know as our phones are still ringing thank you all [End message] Ft Myers is at 81.8 W, 26.6 N __________________________________________________ Jim Varney 121.398W 38.458N 8m Sacramento, CA jamesv@softcom.net, sat_watcher@rocketmail.com _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
