This evening I observed the following satellites. There were qiute some clouds, but later on the sky cleared. Kyakutake was good visible, even its tail. 63- 30 A 96-03-31 19:43:34 LB 135.8 0.5 4 34.0 AA, mag 7->inv Difficult to see. I timed all four flashes and it seems it has two periods one of about 28 seconds, the other about 40 seconds: 0 - 28.72 - 37.44 - 27.88 - 41.74 86- 37 B 96-03-31 19:14:51 LB 59.4 0.5 2 29.7 AA, mag 5->inv 89- 17 B 96-03-31 19:19:02 LB 74.7 0.5 4 18.7 AA, mag 4->7 90- 81 K 96-03-31 19:56:57 LB 78.2 0.5 2 39.1 'Aa'A, mag 4->inv I've measured on the bright max; in between the max is about mag 5 92- 8 B 96-03-31 20:14:07 LB 78.5 0.5 8 9.8 AA, mag 4->inv Measuring every second flash gives: 0 - 19.88 - 19.34 - 19.87 - 19.38 Again two periods, albeit not so far apart as with 63 30 A 92- 36 B 96-03-31 20:03:07 LB 31.1 0.2 8 3.89 FF, mag 4->inv Keeps on flashing very nice.
