I don't know any ftp site that posts SKYMAP by Rob Matson.

The RPV BBS below is considering adding ftp access.

My local Internet provider, krak.duesenberg.se 194.44.126.11
has not announced anonymous ftp yet, and I am not sure it will be
on the same name/address - maybe krak1 or krak1.krak ?
I can mail SkyMap to you in uuencoded chunks of the .zip files,
or if you know any anonymous ftp site that allows me
to put files there, I will do it for you (and others).

I use PRINTGL by Cary Ravitz for printing and displaying .plt files.
It supports hundreds of printer models, and PostScript, PCX, VGA...

Newer versions of PRINTGL support printing on the Windows printer,
and a TSR printing while the .plt file is produced.

Rob Matson uses a commercial package named Print-A-Plot.

HP LaserJet 4, HP plotters, and probably many other printers
/plotters support the HP-GL language by built-in emulation.

The first two BBSes may have older versions of SkyMap (?):

SKYMAP Star Plotting Program by Rob Matson
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------
SKYMAP is Rob Matson's terrific star map and satellite plotting program.
In addition to the program file, PRTGL128.ZIP or some other HPGL print
program is required to print the files. Output is generated on the screen
for EGA and VGA systems ONLY. [1617]

For a sample (and to test your HPGL print program or PRINTGL), download
 the file STS37PLT.ZIP.
